One of the questions I always ask a client is "what kind of skin do you have?" I secretly think most skincare is geared for dry-skin women. And even as we're rolling through summer, I still hear "dry" a lot. But I've started asking another question: "are you worried at all, in getting through the day, about oil or sweat?" My friends, 100% of the time the answer is YES!!! Even clients with dry skin are worried about this.

And with me, if you put even a bit of hydration on me in the summer, you won't want to see the oiliness that will result. For some reason, the naso-labial crease between my nose and mouth is extra bad!

So I have been layering Danessa Myricks' very good products for oily skin over a light

moisturizer. The (strangely named ) Water Powder Serum is a mattifying serum that, we tapped into the T-zone keeps makeup from breaking down from the oil and sweat. The (also oddly named) Blurring Balm Powder well, blurs pores and has Upsalite, this unusual ingredient that is sponge-like and can absorb oil and sweat. So together, they keep everything on your face looking fresh. I've been putting these two babies on pretty much everyone's faces this summer and August isn't going to change that!

I'm also just to glad that us oily girls are getting some love too!

xoxoH
